The new volume trend can easily be mixed in to your current wardrobe. Look for full jackets and shirts with exaggerated lapels, voluminous sleeves, and full bodices and full skirts and super-slouchy trousers. (Filippa K, Fornarina, Banana Republic, H&M, Holt Renfrew) Always balance a fuller top with a lean bottom and vice-versa- it’s much more wearable this way, otherwise you’ll end up looking like a balloon.
Another popular look on the runway was fur. This doesn’t mean dressing in a full-length coat either. Create chic looks with fur accessories by draping a fur scarf around your neck and pair with a fitted sweater and trousers (Banana Republic, Le Chateau) or teaming a fur-trimmed jacket or vest with a print blouse and jeans for more casual work days and evenings. (Mango, Le Chateau).
